If you are a contributor, you shall hold harmless Research Connect from and against any and all claims, suits, liabilities or causes of action arising out of, or in connection with, the posting of your material on this website, including, but not limited to, claims of infringement by third parties.

2.         Privacy Practices

Research Connect may collect: (a) the home server domain names, e-mail addresses, type of client computer and type of web browser of visitors to this website, (b) the e-mail addresses of visitors that communicate with Research Connect via e-mail, or who post messages or materials on the website, (c) information knowingly provided by the visitor in online forms, registration forms or surveys, and (d) information on what pages visitors access.

Research Connect does not place internet “cookies” on visitors’ hard drives.  Internet cookies save the visitor’s name, password, user-name, screen preferences, pages visited and advertisements viewed by the visitor. 

Personal data collected by Research Connect may be used by Research Connect for editorial and feedback purposes, for marketing and promotional purposes, for statistical analysis of users’ behavior, for product development for content improvement, to inform potential advertisers as to how many visitors have seen of clicked on advertisements, and to customize the layout and content of this website.  Upon request via postal mail, e-mail or telephone, Research Connect will provide a summary of any personal information retained by Research Connect regarding the visitor.  Visitors may request that their personal information be removed from Research Connect’s database.

You acknowledge and agree that content contained on this website may be the intellectual property of the contributor of a third party, and that you will not modify, distribute or create derivative works based on the service or the content, in whole or in part.  The content of the website is intended solely for the personal use of our subscribers and contributors.  No right, title or interest in any materials downloaded from the website shall be transferred to you by reason of such downloading or copying. 

All work that is requested by subscribers or customers, can only be cancelled before a payment is made not afterwards.  Due to the intense pressure of the Research Connect analyst team to provide immediate and up to date research, there are no cancellations with refunds for any reseearch that is purchased via the ecommerce credit card site.  In the case of a refund, Research Connect will only be responsible for up to 50% of monies, due to implicit costs of work stoppage and the nature of hourly costs of its analytical team.  This is a business issue, as much as it is an intellectual property issue.  We cannot control the value of Research Connect content once it is purchased.  To this extent, the research is viewed as a "commissioned work", owned by the purchase. 

Research Connect respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask our   subscribers and contributors to do the same.  Research Connect claims a proprietary interest in the trade name and trademark “Research Connect,” as well as the format, layout and structure of this website.  An application for registration of the trademark “Research Connect” has been filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and any unauthorized use of such trademark is prohibited.
